提醒家长和SSAT考生要注意: SSAT真题有两种性质：一种就是官方出版的真题，那就是官方指南啦，这本书是必备的SSAT教材。另外一种真题就是没有版权的，也是很有用的，有助于孩子考取高分，但是使用无版权真题备考，容易被官方以莫须有的理由取消或者延迟考试成绩，比如SSAT历史真题考题回忆。所以还是建议家长让学生准备充分的时间备考ssat，以提高学习能力为目标。

　　如果你喜欢Stephen King，你可以尝试Edgar Allen Poe，它的词汇量很大。Agatha Christie mysteries and the Sherlock Holmes stories by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle are just as much fun.像柯南道尔写的《福尔摩斯》都是很好的阅读材料。看到不熟悉的词，要会猜，了解它的pronunciation，发音以及word histories，词源历史。

　　拿""偷懒""这个词举例。""偷懒""在英文中有很多表达方法，像 slothful / indolent / lazy / idle / lethargic，所以用了字典就会发现，原来英语词汇如此丰富。Memory Aids即记忆辅助物，它有很多种方法。有一种很好的方法就是想像一个场景：To make it easier to remember, add some details to the cards you carry around.给你写的词汇卡片多加些细节，write the word on one side and the definition on the other side, 词汇写一边，定义写在另外一边，then add a ridiculous picture to help you remember it, 加些搞笑的图片帮助记忆。We are visual people, so don't be afraid to draw a crazy picture, the more outlandish it is, the better you'll remember it.我们是有视觉的人，画的图片越是搞笑，我们的记忆就越是深刻。

　　SSAT考试分为写作，数学，阅读和词汇四个部分。想要考取SSAT高分2200分以上，百分比成绩90%以上，词汇和数学都必须是满分。
